A contemporary impasto still life depicting a potted geranium against a fresh white ground. Loose, confident brushwork and a restrained palette give the painting an airy, light-filled quality, while vibrant touches of red draw the eye to the blooms. The textured surface and simplified composition create a modern, painterly feel, balanced by the charm of the decorative silvery frame.
