Wonderful mid-century oil on panel by Swedish artist Sigrid Bengtsson.Known for his gentle agricultural landscapes which often feature little cows or horses, they have a naive feel which expresses the charm of countryside living. The eye is drawn to that splash of bubblegum pink and the sweet little horse and cart being pulled along by the Lowryesque figure.
