A wonderfully striking but soothing modernist landscape by Swedish artist Bengt Hillgrund. Painted in oil on canvas, the teal hues of the sky contrast with the golden fields and lush landscape of the surrounding countryside framing the rustic barn. Signed and dated 1970. Hillgrund, a listed artist has become increasingly collectabile with many of his works exhibited in museums in Stockholm and Malmo.
