Wonderful self-portrait of the Swedish artist Max Ettler .Known primarily as a graphic artist whose travel advertisement prints were featured in magazines and posters throughout Europe, he was also a very talented fine artist whose works have become increasingly collectable. This interesting and well-balanced self-portrait shows the artist with a thoughtful, mysterious expression. The chunky,gold wood frame perfectly enhances the shadowy background and fleshy tones of his strong features.
